JOHNNY ROCKETS DIVERSITY POLICY AND APPROACH

Johnny Rockets, the all-American specialty hamburger restaurant leader embraces and takes its social responsibility seriously as a core value of the organization.

Johnny Rockets believes that the backbone of business success lies in the people we employ and the people we do business with. Therefore, we have adopted the following corporate diversity policy:

Johnny Rockets is committed to providing employment and contracting/procurement opportunities to all individuals and businesses owned by minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs), as well as to disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) and airport concession disadvantaged business enterprises (ACDBEs) and views employment and business diversity as an important business imperative.

Johnny Rockets shall promote and provide equitable employment and business opportunities to all individuals seeking employment and business opportunities, such as but not limited to franchisees and suppliers/vendors in connection with its contracting and procurement opportunities.

Johnny Rockets as a matter of principle and law, has adopted this employment and business diversity contracting policy to affirm its non-discrimination position in its employment and contracting/procurement areas. Johnny Rockets, its franchisees and suppliers/vendors shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, or handicap in the performance of a Johnny Rockets awarded franchise and supplier/vendor contract.

Through this policy Johnny Rockets seeks to create a business environment that encourages and facilitates the full participation of all individuals, particularly those groups that encounter disparities, such as minorities and women, in all phases of its employment and supplier/vendor activities. The purpose and objectives of this policy are as follows:

  1. To ensure nondiscrimination in the employment and supplier/vendor business areas.
  2. To promote efforts, approaches, and initiatives that will foster more effective participation by minorities and women in all Johnny Rockets employment and supplier/vendor opportunities.
  3. To more effectively outreach and promote Johnny Rockets employment and business opportunities to minorities and women, as well as other designated disadvantaged groups.

This policy statement shall be publicly promoted and widely distributed and shall be prospectively deemed applicable to Johnny Rockets and its franchisees and suppliers/vendors, and shall be incorporated by reference into respective Johnny Rockets contracts, unless specifically stated otherwise.
