To serve the absolute best burgers, shakes, and fries around the world in a classic all-American experience.
How It All Began
Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a place where they can escape from the complicated world, Johnny Rockets opened its first restaurant on June 6, 1986 on the iconic Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. What once was an all-American restaurant has now opened its doors to attain a truly global presence. We draw inspiration from cuisines and culture from all over the globe, while staying true to the American classics. Our servers share their passion for food with their superb customer service. Johnny Rockets is reclaiming the past and infusing it with the future.
Not confined to any decade or era, Johnny Rockets combines the best elements from a century of American dining history to create an experience and menu that are relevant today…and will be, for decades to come.
In addition to malls, Johnny Rockets restaurants can also be found in airports, aquariums, casinos, amusement parks, campuses, military bases, cruise ships, sports arenas and seaports. Notable locations include highly visible and popular destinations, including One Penn Plaza, New York City; 3rd Street Promenade, in Santa Monica; South Street Seaport, in New York; and Universal City Walk, in Los Angeles.
Johnny Rockets has more than 380 corporate and franchise-owned restaurants in 36 states and 32 countries, including 25 Six Flags amusement parks and 13 Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
