Johnny Rockets only uses Personal Preference Information (PPI) to offer its customers information and discounts on products and dining ideas that a customer wants to hear about.
Personal Preference Information is collected by Johnny Rockets when a customer voluntarily provides such information to Johnny Rockets or a third party partner (web-hosting agency, merchandise fulfillment, or direct e-mailing firm) of Johnny Rockets. PPI is personal information linked to an individual, such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, zip code, gender, birth date, anniversary date, billing information, or lifestyle and personal interest information. If you do not want your personal information collected, please do not submit it.
Johnny Rockets collects PPI when users respond to an advertisement, survey, register for email announcements or newsletters, register for text announcements or offers, register for product or dining discounts, or enter a sweepstakes promoted by Johnny Rockets or its partners. In addition, selected third-party partners of Johnny Rockets will share personal information with Johnny Rockets about their consumers that have consented to the sharing of their personal information with third parties.
Johnny Rockets gathers only the following personally identifiable PPI:
- E-mail address
- First name
- Last name
- Address (including city, state, and zip code)
- Telephone number
- Date of birth (optional)
- Gender (optional)
Johnny Rockets uses Personal Preference Information to:
- Ensure that customers receive products and information that they request;

- Deliver mailings, e-mail messages, or text messages to those users that have submitted their e-mail addresses, postal addresses, or telephone numbers directly to Johnny Rockets.
Johnny Rockets does not collect sensitive personal information, such as medical information, personal information regarding sexual orientation or behavior, or personal information related to children under the age of 13 without proper parental consent.
We may use a third party service provider to provide a product or service on our behalf that you have requested, such as email announcements, text announcement, advertising, promotions or newsletters. We require these service providers to agree to use personal information of subscribers only for the purposes of carrying out these operations and to adhere to the terms of this policy.
Johnny Rockets or a third party acting on our behalf may monitor the readership levels of our users to help identify aggregate trends in our service’s usage so we can be sure that we are doing everything we can to create products that are of the highest value to our customers. Johnny Rockets will not share PPI with any third party if the customer indicates on the registration form or subsequent questionnaires the preference to limit the use of such information, or if such customer opts-out of Johnny Rockets databases of PPI.
Johnny Rockets will share or transfer ownership of its collected data if legally required to do so pursuant to law, court order or other governmental action or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Johnny Rockets or others, or to verify billing information or detect credit card fraud. In addition, Johnny Rockets may share its collected data with a third party in the event that the ownership of Johnny Rockets is transferred to such third party via an acquisition, merger, sale of assets or otherwise.

Collection of Information
Certain non-personal information about site visits is recorded by the standard operation of the Internet servers on which our web sites are operated. The non-personal information that we collect includes the type of operating system in use (e.g., Macintosh or Windows), the type of browser being used by the visitor (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox), IP addresses, and the number and frequency of visitors to our site.
We have a section on our web site that displays our current kids promotion available at our restaurants. We do not require a child to provide any personal information to view this promotional page. We collect only limited personal information from children 12 years of age and under (like their e-mail addresses) to respond to their online requests and notify them of upcoming kids programs. For example, we may collect a child’s e-mail address in order to enter the child in a sweepstakes. Or, we may collect a child’s e-mail address to inform them of a new kids menu item. We may also ask a child to provide an e-mail address of a parent so we can notify the parent or seek consent. We will not collect more detailed information from a child 12 years of age and under, such as a postal address or a telephone number, without the consent of a parent or guardian. Johnny Rockets will not condition a child’s participation in any online activity on the child’s disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity.
You are always free to decline cookies, but in doing so your child may not be able to use certain features on our web site. The “help” segment of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to configure your browser to not accept new cookies, how to have the browser inform you when you receive a new cookie, and how to erase cookies from your hard drive.
We may also use web beacons to count page visits by our users, to access our cookies, and otherwise to improve your experience on our web site.
Personal information collected from children is used solely by Johnny Rockets or other entities that provide technical, fulfillment or other services to Johnny Rockets. For example, such entities may provide services, such as, improving our web sites, fulfilling requests or administering sweepstakes. This personal information is not sold or transferred to third parties.
How You Can Consent To The Collection, Use, And Disclosure Of Information
If we have collected your child’s name and/or online contact information in order to enter a sweepstakes or to subscribe to receive regular e-mails about our kids program, we will e-mail you a notice offering you an opportunity to opt out of this use at any time. If you do so, we will delete all information we have collected from your child. Unless you tell us otherwise within 30 days, we will assume that you agree to allow us to use your child’s e-mail address to allow him or her to receive informational e-mails on a regular basis and to participate in other online activities, such as sweepstakes. We will not collect any other personal information from your child or make any other use of your child’s personal information unless we receive your express, written verifiable consent to do so.
Communicating with Children and Other Uses
When a child attempts to provide his or her personal information for any reason other than discussed immediately above, we will notify the child’s parent or guardian of our privacy policies and offer him or her an opportunity to consent to the collection and use of personal information from the child.
How You Can Review Collected Information
We believe that parents should be involved in their children’s online activities. Upon request, we will provide parents and guardians with a description of the categories of personal information we have collected from their children and an opportunity to review all personal information we have collected from their children. We will also honor requests from parents and guardians that we delete any personal information we have collected from their children, or that we stop any additional use of this personal information. We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the person requesting information about a child is that child’s parent or guardian.
